María Julia Quintana | Adult Orthopedics | 2021
Mrs. María and her faith have been faithful companions since she was 25 years old.
Twenty-eight years ago, she suffered an accident that left her with many complications affecting her hands, spine, and feet. She sought treatment both in hospitals in the city and in Tegucigalpa. And although she received temporary solutions, she never lost hope for a better future.
“I bless God because my granddaughter was able to get me an appointment here at the Foundation. At that moment, I knew that my prayers had been answered. I bless the Foundation and all the staff who work here.”
An early retirement, several hospitals and doctors, and many other circumstances throughout her life have made her a tireless woman with a truly generous heart. She is definitely an example to follow—someone who never stopped believing.
