Jesus Antonio | Patient MAR

The mother of patient Jesús Antonio shares a bit of her little boy's story.
Hello, my name is Eva, and I am Jesús's mother. We come from La Campa, and my son is two years old. The diagnosis was very sad for us. We have fought hard for him. When he was born, he had a perforated anus, and he was transferred from an institution in San Pedro Sula as a newborn. There, they examined him and discovered problems with his esophagus, which wasn't properly attached. He can't eat by mouth, only through a feeding tube. A woman helped us get him a spot here at the Foundation. Jesús has had procedures since August, but he couldn't have surgery because he was very underweight and had very low hemoglobin. We feed him with milk, pureed food, vegetables, fruit juices, and the Pediasure that was prescribed here at the Foundation.
Thank God, we've been feeling better. Jesús Antonio was able to be seen by Pediatric Surgery and is now waiting for his next procedure.
Thanks to your donations, we transform lives!
