Ian | Ear and Hand Brigade
At the Ruth Paz Foundation, we have had the honor of accompanying Ian and his mother, Katherine, on their journey towards a better quality of life.
Ian was born with a unique condition affecting his hands, facing the challenge of having only four fingers on one hand and some fingers fused together on the other. Throughout his journey, he has undergone two reconstructive surgeries and is now ready for another procedure that will separate his fingers and improve his mobility. In addition, Ian has scoliosis, for which surgery is planned for next year.
For Katherine, this journey has not been easy, but her strength and love have been fundamental. Since arriving from Cofradía, Cortés, to receive care, they have felt supported by the Foundation's team and have highlighted the human qualities of each member.
Thanks to the support of caring people like you, we can provide specialized care to children like Ian, who dream of a future full of possibilities.
If you'd like to help transform more lives like Ian's, please consider making a donation. With your help, we can continue to bring health and hope to more families.
