With a gestational age of 26 weeks, little Eytham developed an inguinal hernia that was causing him problems.
After a long journey from Olancho and spending 80 days in a hospital in the capital, he and his mother decided to move to San Pedro Sula, where they finally received the care they so urgently needed.
“I was told that a medical brigade was coming where they could treat my son, and because I didn’t want to miss the opportunity, I asked everyone I could how I could get him registered. In the end, I managed to get him the care he needed,” his mother told us as she played with her little boy.
Changes are difficult, but the sacrifice is worth it when we see that everything works out!
