A small thorn can cause a problem. Mrs. Ondelina, 54, had an issue with a thorn that she was unable to remove from her foot at the time. Over time, it gradually grew and caused a cyst to develop above her toes, resulting in some pain and discomfort.

“When you are young, there is not much you can do in situations like this, but now that we had the opportunity, we decided to bring her to the Foundation so she could finally have this problem removed,” her daughter tells us, happy that her mother can finally receive quality care.

“We went to several hospitals where they would not give us an appointment, so we decided to come to the Foundation, where we knew she would receive good care.”
