Today, Darly shares her story with us and how the Ruth Paz Foundation has positively impacted her life.

At the age of 2, Darly developed a fever caused by ALL (acute lymphoblastic leukemia), which made her anorectal malformation more complicated to treat.

Her mother tells us, “A doctor told us that surgery was not necessary and that she only needed constant cleaning. Her father said he did not want to wait for something else to happen and told us to look for a definitive solution.”

That is what they did, and after consulting with another doctor, they were advised to come to the Foundation, where they were finally able to find a solution to her problems.
