Chelsy | Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

At the Ruth Paz Foundation, every story of overcoming adversity inspires us to continue working for a better future for everyone. Today we want to share the story of Chelsy, a brave girl who has received the support of our Foundation with the love and care she deserves.

Chelsy, like many children who come to the Foundation, was born with a condition that affected her ear. When her mother, Gladys, learned of her diagnosis, it was a very difficult time for her, but from the beginning, she knew that the most important thing was to give her daughter all the love and support she needed.

It was through a neighbor that Gladys learned about the Ruth Paz Foundation, and after several visits and evaluations, Chelsy was finally able to receive the reconstructive surgery that would allow her to live a fuller life. Although Chelsy was afraid of the operating room, her courage and trust in the medical team made the whole process much easier than she had imagined.

Today, after her surgery, Chelsy is happy to see how her ear has healed and how her entire process was made possible by the Foundation's care. Gladys, for her part, is deeply grateful for the help they have received and emphasizes the dedication and love with which they have been treated every step of the way.
