Carlos, 21, from Villanueva, Cortés, shares his story:

“I had an accident at work where 46 sheets of glass cut my hand. I was admitted to a hospital, but they weren’t able to restore the function of my hand. I was then referred to Fundación Ruth Paz, and everyone here has been very caring and attentive.

With this surgery, I hope to be able to use my hand to work again.
