Mr. Jorge suffered a fall while working. When he went to a hospital, he was told that he needed surgery, but due to a lack of financial resources, they only performed a reduction.

Determined to save money for his surgery, he learned about the Ruth Paz Foundation and proceeded with the necessary paperwork.

Mr. Jorge Fúnez is a construction worker who, after his surgery and recovery, will be able to return to work. In his own words, “that is the hope and faith”—to regain his health so he can provide for himself and his family.
