When Elvin was born, the doctors discovered that he had been born “sealed,” meaning that he did not have an anus. He was referred to the Ruth Paz Foundation, and now, at 6 years old, Elvin has undergone three surgeries to correct his condition. His most recent surgery was the closure of his colostomy.

He is truly a brave little boy! His mother, Mauricia, tells us: “I have felt very good because we are treated well here, and if everything goes well, we will return home soon.”
